Set a standard for all children, a specific standard, and make every child reach that standard. No excuses.

i think they should make all the schools have good teachers that teach all children at the same level, or at least in that grade level, and the rankings should be atleast 8.

Have 4 terms of even length, a six week break for summer and two weeks off between each term. Otherwise, kids are burned out by now and it takes until October to get revved up again. We have a 7 month effective school year, and that is a waste of valuable, productive learning time.

more monies allocated for teachers and supplies

Mandatory Parent Involvement. Studies prove that when the family unit is supportive of learning the child succeeds. Even volunteering 30 minutes a month per family would drastically impact all children.
