Can somebody recommend high fidelity computer speakers (quality) for use in a music classroom?

   i use altec brand. you can hook up a amp to them.

   Don’t even use “computer speakers”. Use powered monitors instead, like what a lot of musicians do, myself included. I use Behringer Truth 2031A powered monitors, but serious speakers and a power amplifier will work as well. Most computer speakers are just mediocre compared to this set up.

   there is a bose system built to hook up to computers, but my gawd the cost!

   Take a music CD to any good computer store and try them out.

   Then, decide for yourself.
