I am taking algebra right now, and i am having a little trouble with it, and i really want to be able to stay with my grade and move on to geometry next year. I really need help to solidify concepts more…

Who writes the rules about school discipline? is it city-level? county-level? state level? Or does each school make its own rules? I’m referring to primary and secondary school… in school suspensions, detentions, explullsions, ect.

My husband’s mother and other family members(aunts uncles cousins) live in Las Vegas (northwest and southwest) and we are thinking of moving there with our 2 sons(ages 9 and 5) from Maine where we have been our entire lives.Is it possible to have a happy Christian family life there and can we find a safe kid friendly neighborhood?We really would like to try this but I don’t want to ruin my family.Schools may not be an issue as I plan to homeschool.But I would like to be able for them to play sports and do other social activities without being afraid of gangs or violence.

I am a sophomore in high school right now, and I really need to start taking SAT prep if I am going to get into a ivy. Does anyone know a good SAT prep program? I am aiming for at least a 2200.

When I was in high school in 1992 my cathloic religion teacher told us that the catholic church stated that adam and eve were not real people and really were a fable or metaphor. And the meaning of the story was still the same but just the fact that they were real people was not. But I can not find any information to back up what i was told in class as far as just adam and eve not being real. anyone knows when the church changed their viewpoint on adam and eve or if it can be backed up?

Here in Washington DC they did a study of the racial components of kids misbehaving in school. According to the study Black and Hispanic Kids were MUCH more likely to be disruptive in class, per capita. When the report came out the politically correct police screamed that the report was flawed and refused to accept the findings.
In your experience is there a link between race and class room behavior and disruptions?
I am not stereotyping just reporting the results of the survey.

I’m an elementary school student and hv got the presentation topic “mind power”. but i’m unable to find relevant data about it anywhere.

Hello, I’m currently 18 years old. I finished high school, and I want to get a job or go to school. I went to a really terrible high school, and middle school. I really didn’t learn anything past division from my time in school.
Can anyone please tell me what type of math is required for college? And where can I learn the type of math that is required for college? My grammar is really good at the moment, but I will never make it through college with my current math knowledge. Thanks you.
If unable to provide an answer to my math requirement question, how about; What kind of jobs are there that pay 16$ an hour+ that don’t require a college education?
If I don’t get something going soon, my parents want me to join the military so I won’t end up lazy. Thank you for your responses.
I’ll go to any college really, I just want to get a degree in something to get paid more money.
