How do you get people to participate in a community site?

How you deal with feeling invisible in college when there are so many other students?

Like, when you want to comment or ask questions but are hardly ever called on? or when you may or not have a space with a table in it ? or when most of the students would rather ignore you then look at you? Do you know what I mean? How do you deal with that?

My son has Asbargers Syndrom.(?sp) He is not disruptive at all, but it requires some effort to teach him. His school is not willing to help. They suggested that he go into the retention class so he would have only one teacher, this required dropping him from the special ed progam. Since putting him in this class, he has been randomly searched, had his hands smelled for ciggarett smoke, accused of leaving campus, etc. He has reached the point that he feels there is no point in trying when they wont let him succede. He has become depredded, started hanging around with a questionable group of kids, and even started smoking.

I heard my dad talking on the phone with his girlfriend , Lea. I really like her….even though she is not my mom, she cares about me and that matters. But, the only problem was they were fighting and I can always can tell when my dad doesn’t want me to know they are fighting, he’ll go to different parts of the house to get away from my range of hearing, but I’m scared , soooo what do I do?

What are your favorite geometry and algebra review books?

I need a couple of good books to fine tune my geometry and algebra I/II skills. i haven’t seen either in over 20 years. i was looking at the Cliffnotes and Schaum’s outlines but would love some real time input. Possibly from a high school or community college math instructor?
A little clarification: I need to relearn algebra and geometry before I sit for the GRE. Sooo, a history of math doesn’t help much.

Help! pharmacy, St. John?

i am a senior in high school and want to major in pharmacy. i look at a couple of pharmacy school and St. John University is my prior choice of school since they have 0-6 program. i know that i have to fill their undergraduate application and all. but, i want to know if there is any additional form that i have to fill out since i want to apply for their pharmacy program?

I half philippine&chinese, and half white.
I really want to relate to her, but i don’t speak chinese. She has broken english, and I really wish to communicate with her fluently.
I only know a couple phrases. We both share an interest in japanese culture though.
