Is a diploma from a Christian Private School as good as a public high school?

I have a gf who’s probably pregnant and she dropped out of high school and started attending a private Christian Academy and doing their home schooling program.Unfortunately she couldn’t keep up with the monthly tuition cost and has been out of school for half a year. She wants to finish her education by doing the private home schooling through the private Christian Acadamy because she despises the public high school. Now a well respected teacher of ours has told us that getting a diploma from the state is better than receiving one from a private Christian Academy, is this true? I really want her finish high school through the state alternative program which will allow her to work in a classroom with few people, everything will be online so she can work on her classwork at home as well as finish a year in as little as a week or month, and she may finish early. I’m really pushing her to do this for our soon to be born kid, but is it the right thing to do? Should i let her finish highhschool at the Christian Acadamey?? Would colleges and well respected employers accept employers take the diploma from a christian acadamey? (sorry for any typos and grammer mistakes, i used the spell checker on here… big mistake)

I want to become a teacher in North Carolina. I know I need a BA but does it have to take 4 yrs? ?

I’m trying to figure out what college to go to in NC and how much of my time/wk going to school would take because I also need to work part time. I’d like to get through school earlier than 4 yrs if possible. Also do schools hire teachers who get their education from an online college.

What do you think about *** education in public schools?

Dont you think teen pregnancy is very high? Maybe if schools would do something about it, it would decrease. Think about it a lot of the teenage dating starts in school.

My son starts school today, how can I be involved as a working mom?

Hi.

My oldest child starts his first day of school today. I think it’s important for me to be involved in his school and in his education as a whole to serve as an example that I think his education important.

I don’t what my son to grow up thinking that I am too busy working to care about his grades and such. I would like to create the illusion that his schooling is more important to me than my own job.

I work a 40 hour a week job, and I am lucky enough to keep a 6AM-3PM schedule, but I have a 1 hour commute to get home.

What kinds of PTA programs can I participate in that allow me to only participate after 4PM or on the weekends.

I have taken a look at the PTA website for my son’s school, but it wasn’t very informative, and it looked like most of the meetings and such were during the day.

Any ideas will be appreciated.
