do you think that the honors class of the high school unit should be re-established?

btw, i am gona have a debate in school and i am in the affirmative side.. acutally, i am against it.. bt my teacher said i hav to be in d affirmative side bt i cant thnk of any reason why the honors class should be re-established! so i’m asking for opinions ;) pls! help. thank u ;)

How does the electorial college relate to the popular vote?

I just heard a (radio) talk show host say that the reason why we have to keep the eletorial college is because the average American does not have the intelligence to elect a president?
I believe it’s time for our president to be elected by the people. How can the electorial college represent the people when we don’t even elect them?
Short answers are fine (if they are serious) but I’m up for a read if it’s relative information.

Are you aware that many of the schools in the state of California want to start issuing the tests in Spanish?

The weird part of this is that the reason they want to test in Spanish is the students aren’t able to pass the tests in English.
According to the Head of the State board of Ed one of the reasons the families of these students send them to school and one of the reasons for the tests is to check to see if they can in fact read English.

So is the purpose of the tests being done in Spanish to hide the fact that the system in California is failing to do the job they were hired to do.
Is it because of all the PC crap they are saddled with?

and the reason i gained all this weight is cuz my dad had cancer for more than 10 years and he also just died on july 1st

the reason for this question i had a cop interested in it and then after i refused to sell he had a buddy plant thing inside the car and waited for me to drive it when i got in the car i got pulled over for no apparrent resona nd charged with all kinds of things i got out the next day and the people who towed my car for the officer had already soldand auctions it off i didn’t even have time to get it out and i was in jail a day in a half. it shouldn’t have gone with out at leas until they saw i could not get it out or some thing.i was totally re done inside and outi had the leather seats redone and the tranmissin and engine rebuilti had paperwork for all of thisi also had a new a/c put in it waspearl white with chrome ground effects.the car was beautiful i really loved that car i figure it had to be worth a lot to be railroaded forit just in case you were wondering i beat all charges..

I Recently got my ears pierced - what earrings would best suit me?

OK, so I made it to 13 before I got my ears pierced, because I never particularly saw any attraction in them. I didn’t dislike them, but didn’t particularly like them either.

The only reason I got them done eventually was because my little 6 year old sister was going to get hers done and I thought it would be easier for her to get them done with someone, so I told her how brave she was - and fed her a little white lie about how I’d love earrings too bur was too scared to get them on my own - so when she suggested we get them done together I agreed, but only if she would hold my hand.

For the first couple of days I considered taking them out and telling her my ears were allergic to then so I couldn’t have earrings any more, but I decided to keep them - and then the last couple of days my attitude for some reason changed completely. I can’t believe I waited so long, and I can’t wait for them to heal up so I can change them for some nicer ones.

Anyway, I need help choosing new earrings ready for when the time comes to switch them:

If I help in my Catholic School’s Summer Tutoring Program, should I be forced to wear my school uniform?

Ok well like lots of kids in the summer, I want to make some money. But I am not old enough to get a part job somewhere. My Catholic School does a Summer Tutoring Program. It is available to any boys and girls of any school (1st to 8th grade) and goes every Monday to Friday for about 8 hours a day from June 25 to August 3 (our summer vacation is from June 24 to August 6). That means I will be at school tutoring 27 of my 42 days of summer break (we get July 3-5 off). That’s about 216 hours of my summer. I get paid $6 an hour (I know it’s below minimum). After doing the math, I can make $1,296 in this short summer. Since you have to meet certain criteria to be eligible to tutor, all my closest friends will not be doing this. Not a lot of people I know or hang out with will be doing this. But another major downside to this is we will have to wear our school uniforms to the tutoring sessions. So that means over half the summer, I will have to wear my school uniform. The
students recieving the tutoring do not have to wear uniforms. And the teachers can wear anything they want (within reason). Personally, I think this is unfair. I was planning on just going over to one my friends’ houses after tutoring to hang out and relax after a long day, but I don’t know if I really want to go if I will be the only one there in my school uniform (in the summer!!!). So, can they do this? Is it fair? Is it worth it? What should I do?
