What is the normal range for a high school junior soprano?

Just curious.
My range during the school year is usually E below middle C to either D or E, two and a bit higher than middle C.

During the summer, slacking it seems to be nothing compared to that but I was still curious what the “norm” is.
Yes, an E below middle C is the lowest I can go although it doens’t sound great. F sounds fine though.

As for how high, I can get vibrato at C and sometimes D.

Why are homescool lessons always Christian or church based?

We tried to homeschool my our son at beginning of the school year but EVERY thing we looked at was Christian related. I didn’t mind if other people wanted to use such lessons but I felt like Christians aren’t the only ones who want to home school. They don’t have exclusive rights to homeschooling. I don’t even **** Christians but found most of the lessons obnoxious and a little overboard. People have all kinds of reasons to homeschool and they’re not just religious. ps. our son has been back in school.

Are there this many fights at your school?

I go to a regular (maybe) middle school, grades 6-8.
This week we have had a fight everyday except Monday.
And in the school year, there have been 13 fights in just the 7th grade! Maybe this is normal, but at my old school there weren’t any.
And they aren’t just yelling, the ones I’ve seen have been hitting peoples heads on tables, punching, throwing them against the wall, slapping, I mean ******** stuff!

How does the American school year work? Do half terms exist over there?

This video got me wondering (Listen to it and read the comments) http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=DNApmyTv1Z8 .

In the UK, primary school is for 5-11 year olds, and 11-16 (sometimes 11-18 if there’s a sixth form) go to secondary/high school.

There are three terms in the year consisting of 10-14 weeks, with a two week holiday (half-term) in the middle of each term.

How do I stick to my schedule?

I always plan things ahead: e.g when to study, when to take a break, but I never stick to them. Mainly because I always tell myself I can do it later. Thus, I procrastinate to the last minute.

It’s a new school year, how do I stick to my schedule and actually do it?

guidance please? :)?

okkkk so im moving to this new town and a totally new school!
can anyone give me tips about how to gain a lot of friends and become like popular (not in a mean bratty cliquey way,but in a good, positive way)? i was social at my old school and known for being nice to everyone and being really fun to be around, but now i don’t know, i’ve just become really reserved and quiet because im not sure what i should say around everyone! (im in summer school right now)

any help would be greatly appreciated besides the “be yourself” concept which i’ve heard many times and am desperately trying to do!
=) thanks!!
thanks everyone for their responses so far, but i also want to say that im in summer school, so if there’s anything i can do right now before the school year, that would be great!
:) thanks!! :)

Lacking motivation for the new school year?

This year I’m taking a variety of difficult, time consuming classes. In fact this may be the most important year of my high school career. However I’m feeling incredibly lazy. Nothing seems to be important to me. I keep postponing exercising and have gained some weight but have been putting off losing it due, once again, to laziness and procrastination. Everything seems to pile up and make me care less. I’m usually a perfectionist and get high A’s. How can I get out of this slump? How can I motivate myself?
